The obnoxious Tony Stark is baaaaacccckkkk......!!! At first I thought, Oh, Im not gonna watch this "dude" movie! But then I think what the heck, I'm watching it just out of curiosity. Since everybody seems talking about it. I really thought IRON MAN 2 will be great like The Dark Night or Spiderman...but in fact: IT'S NOT! IT'S BLAH...Maybe I would've been more impressed and enjoyed the movie more if I were a 8 year old boy who is obsessed with superheroes and robots! Like the other superheroes movies (read: HOLLYWOOD) the ending is so predictable. The bad guy loses and the good guy always wins. Maybe the reason why this movie is highly anticipated because the Robert Downey Jr.'s frenzy from Sherlock Holmes couple months ago is not done yet and big bucks from Paramount Pictures to promote this movie.
The movie is packed by Hollywood A-Listers. I think that Robert Downey Jr. is suited perfectly playing the obnoxious and arrogant Tony Stark. One thing that bothers me is I didn't feel the "chemistry" between Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow (as Pepper Potts). Special appearance from the late Adam Goldstein a.k.a DJ AM is a bittersweet for the movie.
Brand placement in this movie also very obvious. LG (appeared for the cellphones, tvs, buildings), Audi (appeared for the cars and buildings), Kodak (appeared for the products, buildings, banners), 7-eleven, Burger King, Dr.Pepper and Oracle Software.

The most "shocking" thing in this movie is how they try to doctrin the Americans and even the world that Iran and North Korea are the real threats for America and for the world just because they have nuclear. This thing is very clear captured in the scene where Tony Stark attending the hearing with the U.S Senate. This once again proves that motion pictures/movies is one of the easiest way to share culture and spread propaganda. From this movie also you can see how the United States and maybe many countries around the globe work their butts off to "protect" their countries. War seems like an addiction nowadays.
In the end, this movie is okay (I think) but I'm not jumpin'off my chair (like Simon Cowell uses to say on American Idol..) I do have a favorite line from this movie: "I was here first, get a roof!" by James "Rhodey" Rhodes when he saw Tony Stark and Pepper Potts smooching on the top of a building. LOL... 2 stars out of 5. You decide....Happy Watching!
